What actually happens during a business colour analysis session?

I bring the styling experience directly to you—whether that’s your home or a quiet office workspace! We will pull up two chairs by a nice, bright window to use the best natural daylight. I’ll bring along a professional mirror (and I can bring my own mobile chairs if you don't have any spares!).We start the session by exploring your metallic finishes (gold, silver, antique gold, and antique silver). Seeing how your skin reacts to these metals gives us the ultimate foundation to unlock your skin's natural undertones. From there, it helps me work out your exact colour season. We then layer a sequence of professional drapes under your chin to map out the specific business and wardrobe shades that make you look commanding, rested, and vibrant.

Should I wear makeup for the consultation?

Accepted Answer

To get the most accurate results, it's best if we look at your skin's completely natural undertones. Please have a fresh, clean face with no makeup, tinted moisturisers, or fake tan.  If you have a busy day of client meetings or video calls right after our session, you are welcome to apply your makeup immediately after the draping is finished! If you wear glasses for work and can't see clearly without them, that is absolutely fine—your comfort and ability to see the changes in the mirror are what matter most.

I work in a very casual industry. Is this still relevant to me?

Absolutely! Business style has evolved massively, and "professional impact" doesn't have to mean structured corporate suits. Whether your working wardrobe consists of sharp blazers, relaxed smart-casual separates, creative layers, or simple t-shirts for video calls, knowing your colours ensures that whatever you throw on in the morning makes you look effortlessly put-together and approachable.

Can you do the session at my office or workplace?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as long as there is a private area with a window that lets in good, clear natural daylight! If your office has heavy tinted windows or fluorescent overhead lighting that can't be turned off, it is usually much better for us to meet at your home where we can get pure, natural light by a standard window.

How far do you travel from Combe Martin?

I love supporting business women all across North Devon and the wider South West! Travel within a 5 mile radius of Combe Martin is completely free. For journeys further out, travel is simply charged at the standard 55p per mile round trip to cover my journey to you
